Refund Policy

HelixOneGlobal

Effective Date: 28 January 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through HelixOneGlobal and its associated websites and brands, including but not limited to The Future Skills College (www.thefutureskillscollege.com).

Because we sell digital content that is supplied immediately (or made available for immediate access), we do not offer refunds for digital products once access is provided (for example, once you click "access", log in, stream content, open a module, or a download link is issued).

Please make sure you read the course/product description and check your device/internet requirements before you buy.

2. Relevant Legislation

This Refund Policy is issued in accordance with the following UK legislation:

The Consumer Rights Act 2015

This Act sets out your rights when purchasing digital content. Under this legislation, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If digital content does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013

Under these Regulations, consumers purchasing digital content online are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period during which they may cancel their order and receive a full refund. However, this right is lost once you have given your express consent to begin accessing or downloading the digital content and have acknowledged that you will lose your right to cancel.

By proceeding with a purchase and accessing digital content, you provide this express consent and acknowledge the loss of your cancellation rights in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3. Waiver of Refund Rights

By downloading, accessing, or otherwise using any digital content, course materials, e-books, or digital resources, you expressly agree to waive your right to a refund in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

As required under Regulation 13, we inform you that:

  1. You have a right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

  2. By requesting immediate access to digital content, you expressly consent to the supply of digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.

  3. You acknowledge that once the digital content has been accessed or downloaded, you will lose your right to cancel and receive a refund.

Please note that HelixOneGlobal does not have the ability to track or monitor how, when, or to what extent you access or use digital content once it has been made available to you. Therefore, the onus is on the buyer to demonstrate that they have not accessed, downloaded, or used any part of the digital content when requesting a refund. We are unable to verify claims of non-access and will assess all refund requests accordingly.

We strongly encourage you to review all course descriptions, e-book details, and system requirements carefully before making a purchase.

4. Online Courses (Digital Services)

4.1 Cooling-Off Period and Legal Basis

If you are a UK consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give you a 14-day "cooling-off" period for online purchases.

However, for digital content/services supplied immediately, you lose the right to cancel when:

  • you ask for immediate access/performance to start; and

  • you acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right.

This is permitted under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

4.2 What Counts as "Access" (Waiver of the 14-Day Right)

For our online courses, by clicking "access", logging in to the course platform, or otherwise starting to view/stream/open any course content, you:

  • request that the digital service starts immediately; and

  • acknowledge and agree that you lose (waive) your 14-day right to cancel under Regulation 37.

Once access has started, the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where an exception in Section 7 applies or your statutory rights apply (Section 8).

4.3 No Refunds Once Access Is Provided

Due to the nature of digital content, once you have been granted access to Course Materials, a Subscription, or a Digital Product (including where content is available to view, stream, or download), your purchase is final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Once access is provided, we do not offer refunds because:

  • you changed your mind;

  • you did not complete within the access period;

  • you forgot login details; or

  • you experienced technical issues on your side (for example incompatible devices or poor internet connection).

5. E-Books and Digital Downloads

All e-books, downloadable resources, templates, and similar digital downloads are non-refundable once:

  • the download link is issued or sent to you; or

  • you access, open, or download the content.

Exceptions may apply only if:

  • You have been charged more than once for the same product.

  • The file is corrupted or inaccessible, and we are unable to provide a working replacement.

  • The digital content does not meet the standards set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Physical Merchandise

Some physical items may be produced and shipped by Printify (or another print-on-demand fulfilment partner). Where this applies, their production and shipping policies/processes also apply.

6.1 When We Will Offer a Replacement/Refund

We will only offer a replacement or refund for physical merchandise if the item is:

  • damaged;

  • defective; or

  • incorrect (wrong item sent).

You must contact us within 14 days of delivery and provide clear photo evidence (including the item and, where relevant, the packaging).

6.2 All Other Merchandise Sales Are Final

All other merchandise sales are final, including (without limitation) where:

  • you change your mind;

  • you ordered the wrong size/colour; or

  • the item does not fit your personal preferences.

6.3 Overseas Shipping and Extra Fees

If your order is shipped internationally, you may need to pay additional overseas shipping charges, customs fees, import duties, or local taxes. These costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable.

7. Exceptions (Very Limited)

We will only consider a refund in these limited situations:

  1. Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same order.

  2. Failure to provide access: we do not provide access to the purchased digital course/content within 14 days of purchase and we cannot fix this within a reasonable time after you notify us.

If an exception applies, any refund (if approved) will be made to the original payment method.

Duplicate or Accidental Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same Course twice, or purchase a Course you have already completed, please contact us promptly (within 7 days of the duplicate purchase). Provided access to the duplicate has not been used, we will at our discretion either issue a refund or provide credit towards another Course of equivalent value.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If digital content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to:

  • a repair or replacement of the digital content;

  • a price reduction; or

  • a full or partial refund (depending on the circumstances).

If physical goods are faulty, you may have rights to repair, replacement, or refund.

If you believe the digital content is faulty or does not meet the statutory requirements, please contact us within 30 days of purchase.

9. Consultancy and Bespoke Services

Refunds for consultancy or bespoke services will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to your individual service agreement or contact us directly to discuss your circumstances.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund (where an exception applies) or to report a merchandise issue, please email info@helixoneglobal.com and include:

  • your full name

  • the email address used at checkout

  • what you purchased (course/product/merchandise)

  • date of purchase and order reference (if available)

  • a clear description of the issue

  • confirmation that you have not accessed, downloaded, or used any of the digital content

  • for merchandise claims: photo evidence

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 working days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 working days.

Refund Processing Time

Where a refund is due (for example, for Merchandise issues or exceptional circumstances under applicable law), we aim to process the refund within 28 working days, though it may be completed sooner.

11. Our Rights

HelixOneGlobal reserves the right to refuse a refund request if we believe this policy is being misused or if the terms above have not been met. All decisions regarding refunds are made at our discretion and are final, subject to your statutory rights.

12. Amendments to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Acknowledgement and Agreement

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy, including:

  • the no-refund policy for digital content once access is provided;

  • the waiver of your right to cancel once you start accessing digital content/services, as permitted under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (Regulation 37);

  • the onus being on the buyer to demonstrate non-access when requesting a refund;

  • the limited exceptions in Section 7; and

  • our Terms and Conditions.
